PETER SNELL YOUTH VILLAGE

Peter Snell Youth Village offers 27 acres of gorgeous New Zealand bush and parkland, thriving with native bird life, just 45 minutes from downtown Auckland. It overlooks the stunning waters and islands of Mahurangi and accesses a secluded rocky shore and large sandy beach.

It’s the perfect spot to host a group whether large or small since we have two independent facilities. Our recently refurbished Dearsly Cottage sleeps 32 and is self-catered with its own meeting hall. The Peter Snell building sleeps 88, is fully catered by professional chefs, and has a separate meeting / recreational hall with PA, data projector and chairs. By combining the two facilities, we can cater for up to 120 people.

Peter Snell Youth Village also offer a whole range of activities, from the easy-going orienteering, frisbee golf, trampolines and hobo stoves to the adventurous archery, air rifles and initiative course. Or there’s the downright adrenaline-fuelled 60m water slide, slingshot paintball and hill tobogganing.

Our flagship events are our Kids Camps. Every school holiday, Peter Snell Youth Village pulls out all the stops and runs an incredible camp for Y4-9 kids, jam-packed with crazy games, delicious food, various activities and an overall message of encouragement, hope & inspiration for our young people.
